More Progress...

Free-time is hard to come by when working two jobs. I'm also realizing how addicting it is to resculpt everything in the name of learning. Working on the cape and utility belt now; here is my progress thus far:

Inked-er up and added the values to it, next step is color, but, I'm still figuring out what I want to do with the area by the feet in order to better "ground" him... Word!

Night-time sketch WIP

I couldn't justify going to sleep without drawing something and since the Rocketeer is one of the coolest characters around, I decided to sketch him up in my own style. Color comes tomorrow!

Puppy Animation (Highmark)

A little animation I did for Highmark while working at Animal VFX. The characters are super simple to match the style of the commercial. I thought it was a fun challenge to take such simple/graphic characters and bring them to life as much as possible!

I handled the modeling/rigging and animation of both characters.

Tinkering with a different style. I was really drawn to the Secret of Kells simple and streamlined look; so, I tried to incorporate some of those elements into a self portrait! :)

Rocketeer WIP...

I've always loved movies like the Rocketeer and realized that I've never really done any fan art since I was 16; so, I figured I'd try my hand at this! Its still in its rough stages, but, the ovular shapes will be Nazi zeppelins and I'm making an effort to revamp the Rocketeer's design to be a bit more futuristic while maintaining the integrity of the character. =D
